Welcome to the Coutts Museum of Art! To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all visitors, we kindly ask that you review and follow the museum's guidelines and policies.

General Visitor Guidelines

• Admission: Admission is always free; a $5 donation is appreciated to support our programs.

• Respect the Art: Please do not touch the artwork, frames, or display cases unless otherwise indicated.

• Photography: Non-flash photography is permitted for personal use unless otherwise posted. Tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are not allowed.

• Food and Drink: Food, drinks, and gum are not permitted in gallery spaces.

• Backpacks and Bags: Large bags, backpacks, and umbrellas must be left at the front desk or carried by hand.

• Cell Phones: Please silence your devices and take phone calls outside of the gallery spaces.

• Children: Children are always welcome we kindly ask that they are supervised at all times.

• Accessibility: The museum is wheelchair accessible. If you need assistance during your visit, please ask at the front desk.

Group Visits & Tours

• Groups of 10 or more are asked to schedule visits in advance.

• Guided tours are available upon request and are subject to staff availability.

Programs & Events

• Event registrations (when required) are available through our website or by contacting the museum.

• Some programs have age recommendations; please review individual event details for specifics.

• Outside food or drink brought in for events must be approved by museum staff.

Membership

• Members support our mission to promote art and art education in our community.

• Memberships can be purchased or renewed online or at the front desk.

Facility Use

• Private facility rentals must be approved in advance.

• Only authorized events may serve alcohol, and necessary permits must be obtained by the renter.

Code of Conduct

• All visitors are expected to behave respectfully toward the art, other guests, and staff.

• Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

• Coutts Museum of Art reserves the right to ask any individual or group to leave if guidelines are not followed.

Donations and Sponsorships

• Donations are welcomed and support exhibits, educational programming, and museum operations.

• Sponsorship opportunities are available for exhibitions, events, and education initiatives. Please contact the museum for more information.

• Coutts Museum of Art does not offer appraisals of art.
