About the event

In a 3-hour class learn how to work with wool to create a small 3-demensional object. We will wrap wool around a 4” flat resist, felt it with soapy water, then “full” the piece into a round shape that sparks our imagination as to what it might become. It might be a head, like the pumpkin on a stick, a pot or bowl shape we can hide a message or key in. I will bring things to help our shape to become a thing. Beads, tokens, silk, curly wool, and or fancy yarns. Or if you have something you’d like to incorporate into your shape, please bring it. A large old towel, an apron, and your imagination are all you need to bring. Come ready to work with your hands, some soapy water, a bit of wool, a little freedom.
